Safe Space | Allies in Training Workshop
LGBTQ Student Life’s Safe Space I Allies in Training program is a 2.5 hour workshop that has a broad goal of fostering an inclusive environment that challenges oppression and provides support for students who experience LGBTQ+ identities. Safe Space I Allies in Training educates the University of Chicago community on the challenges that many LGBTQ+ people experience. The training works to support LGBTQ+ students by developing an ally network and creating welcoming physical spaces for the UChicago LGBTQ+ community.
